What can i do with a major in?

okay i asked this question before, but i don't think i was clear enough. i'm interested in both psychology and journalism. i love science and i want to help people, but i'm also a great writer and love writing! i was thinking of majoring in psychology and minoring in journalism. i know that a master's in psychology is a must, so that would happen without a doubt. regardless of what i major in, i'm getting a master's degree. but does it make sense to minor in journalism, or is that stupid? my teacher told me to rethink that because the journalism field isn't doing well. but if it's something that i enjoy doing, could i find a profession that involves both? my teacher suggested that i major in psychology and minor in forensics?
