Wow. That women is absolutely ridiculous. You went through the trouble of getting all those nice gifts for her when you didn't even know her. And plus she should be proud of where she comes from instead of trying to be 100% American... Which doesn't exist anyways. But yeah you were being very generous and polite. In my opinion she was the one being rude.
