Can someone tell if i over reacted on this?

If you ask me, you are under-reacting. This is a breach of trust. You were with him when he sent this woman a message indicating he still loves her. Whether or not it is "friendly" or not, which doesn't seem to be the case, there is a level of intimate thoughts that you only share with your partner. I would feel betrayed.
