Moving to a big city? Can you help?

You need to visit NYC before deciding to live there. What the media says about NYC is different then the actual experience. As living in NYC, its more reasonable to live far out because its cheaper for you. Any housing close to NYC is expensive and having a car in NYC is just a big hassle. I would recommend living in New Jersey and taking the subway across the Hudson to get to NYC everyday for your job.
