What age is a puppy potty trained?

I have a Beagle puppy that is 6 months and is having troubles going pee and poop outside ONLY. Is there a age when a dog is supposed to be fully potty trained? One time I wanted to sleep with my puppy and I did and she woke me up at 2:30 a.m and there were 5 piles of poop and 2 piles of pee and i fed her at 3 p.m and she got all of her poop out. (I thought) maybe about a month ago she was only going outside and holding it in the house when she needed to go can someone tell me if there is an age for a puppy to be fully potty trained and maybe some tips?
